Three is the start to all repeating decimals. 1/3 is 0.3̅3̅. The bar on top means that the 3 goes on and on and doesn't stop. This is why you should follow one big rule: if a number is divisible by 3, making it a denominator will give you a repeating fraction. If you have 1/9, you'll get a constatntly repeating fraction.


1/9 is 0.1... with repeating ones. Obviously, 0.1 repeating multiplied nine times is 0.9...   1/9 *9 is 1, but 0.1...(which is 1/9) multiplied by 9 is 0.9... Does that mean that...
